Sprouting Farms’ cooking class participants made this recipe. I happen to love brussels sprouts, but roasted with a honey glaze poured over brought them to a whole new level.
ROASTED BRUSSEL SPROUTS WITH HONEY GLAZE
Preheat Oven: 425° Serves: 6-8
Ingredients:
2 Pounds brussels sprouts
Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 Cup apple cider vinegar
4 Tablespoon honey
1/2 Stick butter
Directions:
Cut the sprouts in half and place on a baking sheet that has been drizzled with olive oil. Drizzle the sprouts with a little more olive oil and salt and pepper. Roast the sprouts for 15-to-20 minutes.
Add the apple cider vinegar, honey and butter to a saucepan and simmer for about 3 minutes. Once you have tasted the mixture, you can add more of any of these ingredients if needed.
When you are ready to serve, pour the honey glaze over the sprouts.
