Charles Anthony Hazard Jr., 70, of Asbury, WV, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, August 15, 2017.
Born January 24, 1947, at Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of Charles Anthony Sr. and Mabel Harrison Hazard.
Mr. Hazard was a member of the Flat Mountain Missionary Baptist Church and was a mechanic by trade.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Hazard.
Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Twila LaFountain Hazard; son, Charles Anthony Hazard III and wife, Angie, of Asbury; daughter, JoAnn Sims of Asbury; sister, Mary Jane “Susie” Hazard of Asbury; grandchildren, Shaina Sims, Ashley Clevenger and husband, Delton, and Christina McComb and husband, James; and great-grandchildren, Trinity and Remington Clevenger, Brentley Hazard, and Kayden McComb.
It was Mr. Hazard’s wish to be cremated.
His family will hold a private memorial service.
