Marilyn Lancaster, 87, of Lewisburg, WV, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017, at the Villages of Greystone Assisted Living Facility in Beaver, WV, after a long illness.
She was born February 14, 1930, in Spring Creek, WV, the daughter of William and Nannie Hayes Hingardner.
Marilyn was a life-long Greenbrier County resident, a graduate of Frankford High School in Frankford, WV, and a longtime employee and manager of The Lewis Theatre.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James.
She is survived by her son, Danny and wife, Debra, of Renick, WV; two grandsons, Aaron of Colorado Springs, CO, and Alex of Carthage, NC, both of whom are active duty Army members; a sister, Mildred of Olney, MD; and four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Greenbrier Humane Society or Hospice of Southern West Virginia would be appreciated.
Graveside services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg.
McCraw Funeral Home in Lewisburg is in charge of arrangements.
