James Floyd Ferguson

James Floyd Ferguson, age 72, of Pulaski, VA, passed away peacefully Friday, March 17, 2023, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born in Beckley, WV, to the late John Ferguson and Helen Faye Albert Ferguson of (Stanford, WV). In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Meadows.

James was an ordained minister of United Christian Ministerial Association since the 1970s. He was previously a business owner of Interior Improvements, but was actively the CEO of Remnant Restoration Outreach Ministry.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean (Jeannie) Ferguson-Pulaski; children, Alicia Wills, Hawaii, Anthony Trent (Shelly Sampson), West Virginia, Jeremiah Ferguson (Rachel Ferguson), West Virginia, Jamie Yates (Jason Bird Yates), West Virginia, Chad Trent (LeeAnn Trent), Virginia, and Matt Wills, Kansas; brothers and sisters, John Ferguson, Jr (Grace Ferguson), Virginia, Shirley Genburg, West Virginia, Dora Davis (Haven Davis), West Virginia, Betty Bennett (Tom Bennett), West Virginia, Calvin Ferguson (Kathy Ferguson), Virginia, Mary Lou Sharitz, North Carolina, Joe Ferguson (Ronna Ferguson), North Carolina, Sherri Rykiel, West Virginia; grandchildren, Keith (Morgan), Seth (Chole), Olivia, Landon, Bailey Abigail, Casey, Ethan, Drake, Nicholas, and Yaira; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Harper, Hudson, Saphira, and Holden.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Knotresha Stewart and the Intrepid Healthcare Hospice workers.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 1 p.m. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski, VA, with Pastor Bobby Reed officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 noon to service time at Bower Funeral Home.
