RONCVERTE (WVDN) – Ronceverte Public Library will present a 3D, pop-up greeting card class on Tuesday, March 7, at 1 p.m. The class is free to the public.
Using a basic Japanese paper cutting technique called kirigami, participants will make heart, ornament, cross and/or Christmas tree pop-up greeting cards. This technique can be done so that two or three layers of the geometric shape pop-up on one card to really astound and delight family and friends. Cards can be personalized by their makers.
All papers and materials will be provided. Participants should bring small, sharp scissors suitable for cutting paper if they have them.
Instructor Sharon Ginsburg has taught various art or craft classes through Carnegie Hall West Virginia for over 20 years, including at the Kids’ College summer art camp and the school system-based Carnegie Creative Classroom programs.
