Wilma Dean Suiter passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016, after a long battle with cancer.
Dean Suiter was born May 18, 1928, to L.E. Carbaugh and Viola Bird Carbaugh.
Dean graduated from Princeton High School in Princeton, WV, and then from McClain Business College. She worked as a bookkeeper at Bluefield Sanitarium prior to her marriage.
She was a charter member of the First Baptist Church since 1959. Prior to joining First Baptist, she attended Greenview Methodist Church in Princeton. She was a member of the choir for 53 years. She loved everyone she met, especially the children she taught in Sunday School for over 50 years.
Mrs. Suiter was married to William G. Suiter for 50 years.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Rhonda Montgomery and Dr. Dan Montgomery, Cathy Suiter-Henry and Nathan Henry, and Beth Toler and Jim Toler; two sisters; one brother; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church one hour before the service. The Rev. Dallas Smith will conduct the service at the church on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to First Baptist Church for the missions program.
McCraw Funeral Home in Lewisburg is in charge of arrangements.
