The flash flooding that devastated the state of West Virginia Thursday, June 23, has taken a total of 23 lives across the state as of Saturday morning, 15 of which were residents of Rainelle, according to West Virginia Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management spokesperson Tim Rock. Areas of Greenbrier County now look like the aftermath of a war zone.
