Raymond L. Taylor, 57, of Lewisburg, WV, formerly of Caldwell, WV, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016, at the Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV, after a long battle with cancer.
Born October 8, 1958, at Union, WV, he was the son of Ervin Taylor and Shirley Ruth Persinger.
Raymond spent his life doing auto body work and auto body painting, which he enjoyed the most.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son.
Surviving family include one daughter, Amanda Flora of Debary, FL; four sisters, Linda Hughart of Frankford, WV, Patricia Taylor of Lewisburg, Barbara Scruggs of La Grange, GA, and Lisa Hoke of Hollywood, WV; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Per Raymond’s request, there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to help with funeral expenses to the account of Linda Hughart at the Bank of Monroe. Any extra monies received will be donated to the Peyton Hospice House.
The family would like to thank the Peyton Hospice House for their excellent care during his last days.
