Paul William Vandevander, 73, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, died Friday, May 13, 2016.
Born May 21, 1942, in White Sulphur Springs, he was a son of Charles Andrew and Kate Eve Dolin Vandevander.
Paul was of the Pentecostal faith. He worked as a kitchen helper at The Greenbrier. He loved the outdoors and deer hunting. Paul also liked gospel music and loved to listen to his niece, Abbygale, sing gospel music.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Knapp and Linda Vandevander.
Survivors include two sisters, Teressa Trent Chavis of Alvon, WV, and Mae Byers of Jerry’s Run, VA; several nieces and nephews; and a favorite friend, Jeff Huffman of Lewisburg, WV.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at the Pentecostal Church on Ingleside Avenue in White Sulphur Springs with the Rev. Gene Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in the Alvon United Methodist Church Cemetery in Alvon.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, will be appreciated with donations made to help with funeral expenses.
