Lynn Keiley Spellman, 73, of Sweet Springs, WV, died Sunday, May 15, 2016, after an extended illness in Colorado Springs, CO.
Born February 22, 1943, in New Jersey, she was a daughter of Philip Preston and Madeleine Leclercq Keiley.
Lynn was of the Catholic faith. She was a true, hard-working farmer, enjoyed antique car shows, loved classical guitar music, and played guitar and piano beautifully. Lynn was a great historian for the Sweet Springs Valley and Monroe County.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hunter Spellman, on May 2, 2009.
Surviving are one daughter, Jackie Spellman of New Orleans, LA; one sister, Ann Keiley of Colorado Springs; a brother-in-law and special caregiver, Sidney Spellman of Covington, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, May 21, 2016, at 2:30 PM in the chapel of Shanklin Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs, WV, with the Rev. Mark Smearman officiating. Burial will follow in the Lewis Family Cemetery at Sweet Springs.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
