Donna Sue Street, 73, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away Monday night, May 2, 2016, at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV.
Born December 11, 1942, in White Sulphur Springs, she was a daughter of Kenneth Edgar and Hilda Virginia Waid Vaughn.
Donna was a member of the White Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. She was a seamstress, having worked at the former Kellwood plant for many years.
Preceding her in death, other than her parents, were her husband, Henry Herman Street Sr.; the Waids’ sisters and brothers; and nephew, Joshua Hampton.
Surviving are her children, Freddie Stevens (Sandi), Debbie Whitt (Dale), Brenda Martin and family, and Henry Street Jr. and family, all of White Sulphur Springs; brother and sister, Eddie Vaughn (Nancy) of Eagle Rock, VA, and Dinah Johnson (Jeff) of Falling Springs, VA; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; special friends, Brenda Vance of Danville, KY, Arlana Waselchalk of White Sulphur Springs, Ann Erwin of Lewisburg, WV, and Steve “Pee Wee” Feury; and adopted sons, Mark Henson, Mark “Mo” Adwell, Jimmy Honaker, and Richard Dowdy, all of White Sulphur Springs.
Services will be conducted at the White Sulphur Springs Baptist Church at 3 PM on Friday, May 6, 2016, with the Revs. Randy Gilliam and Lewis Brooks officiating. Interment will be in Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg.
Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 1 PM until funeral time. Friends may also call at the home of Freddie and Sandi Stevens, 136 Mamick Street, White Sulphur Springs, on Friday.
Shanklin Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs is serving the family.
