On Saturday, April 9, 2016, Velma G. Dubroka, (nee Williams), 84, known throughout her life as “Rusty,” devoted wife of the late Paul Dubroka, passed peacefully at her residence in the Woodlands Assisted Living of Baltimore, MD. She was the daughter of the late T.T. and Louella Williams.
Rusty grew up in Renick, WV, graduated from Renick High School, and later attended Concord College.
She was a kind and generous spirit who was always helping others throughout her life. Rusty always considered West Virginia her home and remembered her days there with great fondness.
She is survived by her sisters, Lucille McMillion (late husband, Ovid) and Joan Lauenstein and husband, Norman; brother, Roy L. Williams and wife, Phyllis; dear sister-in-law, Freda Williams; and many loving nephews, nieces, and friends.
Services were held at Cvach Funeral Home of Rosedale. Interment followed at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Baltimore.
