Shirley Louise Scott, 76, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea, WV.
Shirley was born November 12, 1939, in Renick Valley, WV, a daughter of Lonnie Warren and Gertrude Mae North King.
She attended Ronceverte Christian Church and was a retired certified nursing assistant.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Paul Scott Sr.; and a brother, Eugene King.
Surviving are her daughters, Karen Campbell (Jody) of Ronceverte, Sue Scott of Charleston, WV, and Ellen Miller (Darrell) of Ronceverte; sons, Doug Scott of Hillsboro, WV, Henry “Bo” Scott Jr. of Ronceverte, and Gary Scott (Connie) of Thornburg, VA; grandchildren, Chrissy Campbell-Butler, Mike Campbell (Misty), Matt Campbell (Tiffany), Sara Campbell, Ben Hinkle, Luke Hinkle, Jesse Hinkle (Katy), Cody Scott (Jessica), Kayla Scott (Dusty), Logan Scott, Jacob Scott, Michael Kyle Hanna, Tyler Hanna, Kelsie Tyson, Kassidy Tyson, and Shania Boggs; great-grandchildren, Brandon Persinger (Mattie), Brittany Persinger, Ceara Campbell, Ryan Campbell, Adam Campbell, Ethan Butler, Jakob Campbell, David Campbell, and Axton Scott; great-great-grandchild, Aubree Hurley; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and three sisters-in-law.
Funeral services for Mrs. Scott are scheduled for Friday, March 25, 2016, at 1 PM at the Ronceverte Christian Church with Roy Massie Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Bruffey’s Creek Emmanuel Church Cemetery at Lobelia, WV.
The family will receive their relatives and friends on Thursday, March 24, from 6-8 PM at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to either Ronceverte Christian Church or the Ronceverte Fire Department Christmas Stocking Fund.
