Faye A. Stennett, 81, of South Charleston, WV, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Thomas Memorial Hospital.
She was a longtime member of Baptist Temple, Charleston, WV, and was a graduate of Charleston General Nursing School. As a registered nurse, she worked for Thomas Memorial Hospital and retired from CAMC Hospital. She was also active in the Women’s Medical Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Stennett, and a brother, Dennis Anderson.
Faye is survived by three children, Donald Stennett of Cedar Grove, WV, Sandra Stennett of Charleston, and Robert Stennett of Teays Valley, WV; grandson, Brendon Stennett of South Charleston; brothers, Norman Anderson of Fairfield, CA, and Ronald Lee “Butch” Anderson of Elnido, CA; and sisters, Phyllis Titlow of Taunton, MA, and Rose Selph of Nankato, KS.
A service to honor the life of Faye will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Baptist Temple in Charleston with Dr. Dennis Johnson officiating. Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park in Princeton, WV.
Family and friends may visit from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, July 21, at Snodgrass Funeral Home in South Charleston.
